enhancing life skills for youth

<p> AWARE uganda will select 15 youth(10 girls and 5 boys) from needy families in Kaabong Karamoja one of the most under privileged regions in Uganda, attached them to artisans who will train them in bakery, carpentry, hair weaving, Motorcycle repairs, Tailoring at a fee of 130 USD for the course per student, we shall rent them different  sharing room for boys and girls at 100 USD per month and provide them meals allowance of 100 USD each per month, these youth will go through training for a period of 3 months in a more developed district of lira in northern Uganda our neighbor, after the training we shall graduate them, purchase for them start up business kits, of  4 tailoring machines at 100 USD, 3 sets of weaving materials at 100USD, 2 motorcycle tool box 120 USD, 3 carpentry tool box at 120 USD, and 3 bakery equipment 130USD they will also act as trainers of new students at our women center as they employ other girls and boys in their business. This will be an income generation activity for the youth who are desperate in Karamoja<br></p>
