Help IFRAD to equip a community-based vocational skills training centre to empower 30 adolescent girls and young women in a rural refugee context in Uganda. IFRAD implements a community-based model centred around returning power to adolescent girls, women and youth to overcome poverty, create jobs and live in dignity. We do this through a semester based training and mentorship experience focusing on entrepreneurship development, vocational skills and community micro-finance. We need your support to equip our training centre with 15 sewing machines so that we are able to provide training in tailoring and fashion design through out the year. With this equipment, we shall open up our doors to 30 more girls and women annually, and will offer full time employment to two artisans/trainers.
